Interested in Modelling

Requirements;

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• The photos are of the nude body, so feeling comfortable with being photographed nude or willing to push your boundaries to be photographed nude.♦♦
• That's all really, you don't need any modelling experience as I give you plenty of direction and how to pose/move your body. (Well I try to at least, I've really not flexible so fall on my bum more often than not)
• Tattoos aren't an issue, I generally try to avoid them in the photos or if they are unavoidable I will remove them if I feel they are distracting in the final Bodyscape.

I work with people from all walks of life (you've probably passed them on the street). I thoroughly enjoy shooting a wide variety of people as we get different results every time which allows me to grow as an artist.

♦♦When I say 'photographed nude' I'm referring to very tasteful and artist photographs of the body, that are a million miles from porn.

What costs are involved?

Sitting Fee / Creative Fee $250
( This includes a $100 non-refundable retainer once booking has been set. Booking fee and studio setup time )

This covers ;

• The initial shoot (Typically 2 hours).
• Low resolution watermarked copies of all the individual photos on pen drive. (I can arrange prints of these photos if you'd like ♦♦)
• The rights to print a copy of the Bodyscape photographs produced from the shoot.

I take a series of single photographs of the body then I arrange them into the Bodyscape photos via photoshop. Each shoot usually produces one or two Bodyscapes photos. I sell prints of these via my website and at exhibitions.

As the model you will receive a commission if a print of your Bodyscape photo sells.

♦♦ I prefer to retain control of the original photos required for printing as I am very particular about who prints my work. Not every printing company can print them correctly and I spent a long time finding one who can. I don't like the thought of my work being presented poorly. Thank you for understanding.

What does a Bodyscape shoot involve?

In order to create a Bodyscape I take a series of photographs of the nude body then I edit them into the ones you see here.

The shoot itself;

• The shoots typically last about 2 hours.
• I use studio flash that has a constant 'modelling light' so I can see what the photo looks like before I take it, which allows more to give you plenty of direction so you don't need any modelling experience.

As the model please consider;

• Please wear loose-fitting clothing for at least an hour prior to the shoot in order to avoid pressure marks on the skin. This saves me a LOT of time later on.
• Bring a dressing gown or similar to wear while I'm adjusting the lights etc.
• Long hair is best if it is tied up to keep it off the nape of the neck.

Afterwards

While I will strive to edit images fairly soon and make a web gallery so the model can have a look at the images from the shoot, it may be several weeks before I completed a Bodyscape photo (depending on workload).

I will always check with the model prior to sharing the Bodyscape photos or releasing them for sale.

I'm told the nerves disappear after the first couple of photos and you'll probably spend the rest of the time laughing at me trying to demonstrate poses.

When a male photographer makes pictures of female models there are a lot of questions cropping up, so let me help a bit with some of the more frequently asked ones to clear up misconceptions from the start; I create photographs because I like to, I get to meet amazing people and it's a great way to explore my creativity.
